The left front in India does not seem to have a character any longer. Opium of power politics is so strong that they have now forged an alliance with AIADMK in Tamil Nadu forgetting that the same Government once sacked all Government employees in Tamil Nadu in a naked demonstration of legislative power. Many cases of reinstatement are still pending in the courts of law. The working class interest for which the communists movement began in the country has taken the back seat today. With each parliamentary election I see these communists keep switching their partners in Tamil Nadu. After almost six decades of their formation in India they still cannot fight an election on their own except Bengal and Kerala. Political parties in India differ only in the colors of their flags, their ideology and characters are alike today !
