Last one month has been the most tumultuous period for everyone at Satyam.  Since the time the previous Satyam board announced the acquisition of Maytas   resulting  in more than 70% drop in Satyam stock, we have been embroiled in severe public and media scrutiny which ultimately reached its peak on January 7th with Ramalinga Raju’s confession letter. It is subjudice and also several investigations are still pending   to find out if whatever Raju wrote in his confession letter is true or false.  But either way ,Raju is guilty- guilty of breaking the trust of so many individuals and putting so many families into difficulty.

Even all our friends and relatives living in remote corners are getting a full view of the scam and excessive media blitz over the issue only  served to aggravate the pain and agony.  It was Mr. Raju who built Satyam with the Satyam Technology Centre located at Bahudarpally in Hyderabad, being an icon of modern India. Now by bringing Satyam down on its knee ,Mr. Raju  finds his place in Chanchalguda prison.  What an irony ! And what an unfortunate conclusion of an orbit which Raju used to talk about while referring Satyam’s journey to excellence.

Waiting for a book “Bahadurpally to Chanchalguda” to be published soon - I bet that would be a best seller , like the way Ramlinga Raju topped the internet search a few days back beating even Obama !
