Myself and Sanju with Ramachandran and Anamika

My acquaintances with Ramachandran and Anamika, whom I would like to quote as ideal couples have been quite memorable. Well known in the space of mixed media art, an artwork where more than one medium is used and enough care is given to ensure that the final outcome has the desired integrity.

I recall the time I have spent with these couples when they were working on a project I had asked for, it was a great joy to watch them unfold their thought patterns as forms of life onto the canvas. Seeing their enthusiasm and involvement, I have always felt that these idealistic and talented artists will make it big in their lifetime. Today they are the busiest artists in town and several works of theirs are displayed across the world.

Both Ramachandran and Anamika have done their Masters in Fine arts and have worked in several projects, rising from humble beginnings these artistic couples have come a long way enduring several challenges by complementing each other.

Working out of a studio located in Chennai, Ramachandran’s work represents today’s genre of provocative conceptual thinkers while moving away from techniques and visuals to ideas and communications. He is an extremely progressive visual artist involved in variety of experiments, and has won several awards and accolades national and international. While Anamika has developed her working style in a number of ways like mural paintings, mixed media art, oil on canvas etc., as quoted by herself in each of her works she depicts her concern and curiosity to know the ultimate of space.

Today I am glad to see both Ramachandran and Anamika climbing the ladder of success by making a niche for themselves in the field of art and I wish them very best in the years to come.

Though I have few paintings done by this couple, the joint effort they have put in producing a painting on the theme of Sokka Gakkai and mission of world peace will always remain close to my heart.
