India has just witnessed a very silent revolution that almost went unnoticed amidst many events like global recession, fall of BSE Sensex, Dhoni’s series win against England, flooding of Chennai, terrorist attack in Mumbai and so on. Braving the chilling winter and the guns of the terrorists, Kashmiris came in large numbers to cast their votes in the recently concluded J&K assembly poll. The turn out was a hopping 65%, even not seen in many peaceful areas. This is a victory to the people of J&K. This is a victory of democracy. Manmohan Singh need no longer now explain India’s position on Kashmir, haven’t the people of J&K demonstrated this?
