After Madhuri Dixit and Tabu, it is now turn of Amrita Rao catching the fancy of Hussain Saahab.  Being in self exile in Dubai he invites Amrita to celebrate Eid with him.  He also plans to make her portraits and perhaps film too.  Going by the experience of Madhuri and Tabu why is it no Islam following woman just caught Hussain Sahab’s fancy and find a place in his canvas?

Why only Hindu women and Hindu goddesses? 

If this can be passed as artistic freedom why then Tasleema Nasreen is denied visa and even forced to leave Kolkata for hurting sentiments of a community? 

Arent we hypocrites?  - Where were Mamta Banerjees,  Brinda Karats or the feminist groups when Tasleema was being hounded all over and even a communist ruled state failed to give protection to her.

No champion of social cause  or women’s cause came forward  to support Tasleema. 

Does the category of artistic freedom apply only to specific categories?

Only recently the new Pak president  Zardari faced flak from fundamentalists for praising the beauty of Sarah Palin the Republican Vice President nominee and Governor of Alaska.  Will the same clergy now slam  Hussain Saahab for his extra passion for Hindu women actresses?

Those in India supporting Hussain’s creativity in painting Hindu goddesses nude, Will they now voice supporting Tasleema  Nasreen to stay freely in India?
