		<description>Asit Bhai,
I will respond to some of your points.
1. Change in Dravidian Politics. It will never change, the DMK/AIADMK/PMK etc are all the same set of people and their supporters will always remain the same. The voting masses have their loayalties and the percentages in all the elections have essentially remained the same. It is the Congress party which makes or breaks the ruling party.

2. Rahul's presence in Tamilnadu is a curiosity draw for the local populace. When Rajiv Gandhi visited Tamil Nadu in the late eighties he also drew large crowds. This emboldened the Congress to go to the polls on their own. They lost badly and never again attempted this feat. The crowds came to see Rajiv and commented on his fair looks (and ugly wife). Iam sure this is the same remarks by Dravidian bhadralok (replace wife for ....

3. Rahul has to be active in politics to retain their ill gotten wealth. The ghost of Bofors has taken decades to close. If the other skeletons surface it will make life difficult for the Nehru/Gandhi legacy. Rajiv started off in politics as a clean cut non politico, however he had to kowtow to the vulgus needs of the game. Same thing will happen to Rahul.

4. Regarding scandals in Rahul's life I think it was public knowledge that he had a Colombian girl friend. Isn't that scandalous!!! It didn't raise eyebrows because our media has become a little more matured and casual promiscuity have become acceptable. Why doesn't he get marrried? Well remember the old adage "Why buy the cow when you are getting the milk free."</description>
