The crew : Here are some of my colleagues who work very closely with me in my current organization in Satyam . There are many others who have made great contribution to my work ,I would write about them in the next time.

I am so privileged to have worked with many great minds. I take pride that most of them began their career with me and are now leaders in their respective fields in the industry. Here are few young minds who I am sure will make it big in their career very soon.

I personally take care in selecting the crew members ( a la Vijay Mallya of King Fisher !) . Being a virgo , naturally my choice goes for those who are honest, diligent ,creative and are spiritually aligned. Here you go -

Lekshman: Popularly called Lucky, is the high octane of the group. Highly energetic Lucky ensures speed and precision in the group through his meticulous planning and fast execution . Any job entrusted to him is taken as done . Resembling the supaari killers , he comes back only to report Khaalash - job done ! Easily connects to people and has established very good relation with our various stakeholders in institutions, media ,industry bodies .Can tell you all his interesting London days’ stories ( he did his Masters in London) over a drink. Don’t miss them.

Shamer: The creative eye of the team . A simple power point presentation can turn live and talk to you if he wants. A perfect host – he calls you home on many occasions. A born perfectionist .His driving is a piece of art and is a pleasure to watch .He believes in doing whatever you are passionate to do .If you decide to visit Kerala , you better consult him . He introduced me to Curry Meen in Kerala, you must try it once before you die if you are a fish eater . Made great contribution in creating our brand . Branding customer off shore development centre has been one of his forte.

Uma: She is one of those “ why didn’t I meet you before” type. One of the best creative minds in the town . Always in pursuit of knowledge through webinars or formal long distance courses , currently pursuing a course in creative writing and painting besides being an exponent in Veena and Classical vocal. Her strong spiritual self keeps her radiating and can never go unnoticed. You would never see her idling – always busy doing something and creating value for self and the team. Highly confident she introduced many new practices in the function. Being an active critic of my blog she made immense contribution to make it widely read by international audience. Like Shamer’s visuals her writing is intoxicatingly beautiful.

Ajay: The forecast man of the team . Market research, key account planning , tracking new technology and also updating us on sensex going up and down making him lose his hair rapidly . Ajai as the General Secretary of the IIT Madras alumni association , Chennai chapter , helps me outside work too in many social activities and is extremely tolerant of me .What I like most in him is how he treats his parents calling them twice everyday .He kept in touch with me in the past even when not in Satyam and respects me so much that I wonder whether I deserve it really. Has a great heart .

Viji : Shopping wizard. Gives tips on the best shopping / tailoring destinations and ongoing sales in the city. Very effectively manages the office administration. She is all men’s ideal wife- pays hubby’s credit card bills, EMI for the house ( house is in Hubby’s name!), car (most of the time see her brother in law in it) , buys clothes for Mom in Law (other bahus listening ?) and also monitors her son’s study from work – a very difficult mom indeed ! She is extremely tolerant and caring to smilingly manage such onerous task of coordinating the corporate office of the largest vertical of Satyam.

Ko: The angry young man of the group and most chased after by the women. A creative genius . Excells in creating flash films .When not at work , he keeps himself busy with chatting either on phone or PC. Very hardworking and dedicated .

Chandra: The Master mind. When not in Satyam ( our company) you would find him in Sathyam ( the cineplex in Chennai ) . A corporate Dashavatar indeed . You would find him donating blood almost every alternate month for many whom he does not even know , going on spiritual pilgrimages at least twice a year ( visited almost all Shiva Lingas in the country),making and studying horroscope ( an outstanding fortune teller even at times predicting if I would be promoted or not and everytime he got it right and could have made a better living out of it had he gone into it fully),not missing any good movie released in town sometimes making it 4 to 5 movies a week , gyming in the evening ,looks a tough guy and can take any challenge while being extremely emotional and simple at heart . He is worried about his Mylapore Mummies who are hell bent on his breaking his singlehood status he prides and values so much and I am worried about his shooting from the lips especially when the fairer genders are around. He is the most trustworthy and dependable person I have worked with and is extremely fast in execution. He acts so fast at times leaving me bewildered what job to be given him next. Made great contribution in taking Satyam Manufacturing brand to external world.

Rajesh: One of the rare Bihari babu who prides in being a Bihari and has a great heart always wondering about what to do to make Bihar a better place. One of the exponent of digital marketing in the country today , he is an avid blogger and his blog was shortlisted as one of the top blogs many times. He is also one of the firsts to start blogging in Hindi. In fact it is Rajesh who introduced me to this addictive world of blogging .Soon we plan to come out with a book on digital age marketing. Son of a very very upright and honest top most technocrat in the country , honesty and integrity is in his blood. He provides great value to the team through his innovative thoughts and ideas.
