Proud to be bihari,I am concerned with the part when you said biharis have bad names everywhere even in Pakistan, is not right, it is true for some reasons but it could be anybody from any community but Biharis are point out unnecessarily, they are very good in education, they are hard workers, talented, and down to earth.

i am from maharastra basically and have many frnds frm bihar, but the thing that i have seen in bihari people is that they are reluctant to mix up, use abusive language in front of girls, and they practise regionalism themselves. i had a friend name geetika from patna compalining all the time bout hated towards biharis and herself cursing bengalis and rajasthanis all the time..so it proves wen biharis get an oppertuanity themselves they have regionalism.
also if lakhs and lakhs and of people come to bihar and take their jobs what will the biharis do then? welcome them?

as i feel pround 2 b an INDIAN..in the same way i feel proud to a BIHARI..i m also in engg. clg n they called me BIHARI..bt i nvr feel ashamed..instead i feel proud as according 2 me i represent BIHAR for showing them the BIHAR they r thinking is nowhere exit..

well the article is beautifully crafted,no 2nd thought abt it,i am a part of the prestigious engineering set up and i have noticed one thing in bihari community which doesnt even has iota of reality for other states or community.if a bihari sees his friend in need irrespective of the state or community he will be even ready to give his food away and will love to sleep without a bite,and the amount of humbleness and generosity they facilitate is afable.there is no bigger helping hand extended to other communities then the biharis.i do agree the good,the bad and the goons do exists but everything has a history.

you cannot generalise things.i am bengali but was born and brought up in ranchi.bihar has got a bad image outside.racism in the name of language,caste,plce etc. are to be found everywhere including bihar.bengalis are migrating,now very few south indians are in ranchi.
